This article discusses the mark of the beast, which is the number of a man, and delves into scripture about receiving the Seal of the Holy Spirit and rising to the measure of an angel. First, I would like to preface this article with the sentiment that we are all of the same flock – all those that have Faith in Jesus Christ and that follow God’s Commandments.
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
None of us is better than the next and certainly not better than our Master. I sit down like I do, to write these articles, because I feel compelled to – just as so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ do. The understanding that I receive from Christ is not mine alone. It is given freely from my Loving and Holy Father in Heaven, and He gives it to all my brothers and sisters that ask Him for it with “purity of intent.” My husband shared that saying with me the other day – purity of intent. God knows our hearts, but men do not. They can guess and assume, but NO ONE knows us, truly, but God. I pray that I have enough “purity of intent” in His eyes. Any one of you can receive Biblical understanding directly from God. The Bible is divinely parabolic, yet so many of us continue to read it only seeing the obvious message on the surface. One of Jesus Christ’s names is The Word of God and He tells His disciples that He speaks in parables because only those that are born again and that have been given eyes to see with, will be able to understand.
“And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”
– Revelation 19:13
And here’s a seriously important verse (not that they all are not seriously important):
“At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” -Matthew 11:25
He does not reveal things to the proud of heart and to those of us that seek our rewards from men, instead of being patient – watching and waiting for our rewards from Jesus Christ. He reveals truths to those of us that know we only get understanding from Him and to those of us that give Him praise, thanks, and all the glory always for this understanding.
“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.”
– Matthew 13:13-16
This means exactly what is says. The Bible, which is The Word of God, is divinely parabolic and we must ask God directly for wisdom and understanding to unlock it. Things are now being revealed in these end days and knowledge IS increasing, but only for those of us that are asking God for understanding and giving Him thanks, glory, and praise always for this wisdom. For so long now, the church has only leaned on other men for understanding of the Scripture, which is why many of us can see the Church now going apostate. How should any of us grow in God’s Good Grace if we remain of the Laeodecian spirit? How should our Faith stay strong and continue to get stronger? The Parable of the Sower is about how most men receive the Word, but then lose it. The Parable of the Sower makes it very clear to all of us that have eyes to see that “once saved always saved”, as man has understood it, is a blatant lie created by mankind.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
- Revelation 3:16 Jesus Christ

Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you.

- Acts 5:32
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
- John 15:26
I am NOT here to teach anyone. I am only here to do just as many of my brothers and sisters have already been doing, to direct anyone to God that needs it. Something as simple as the 3 wise men being at the manger when Jesus was first born into this world is a lie (an unknown number of them arrived after Jesus was moved into a home and was a small boy). How much more have we learned from men that is not true – things that are of much more grave consequences.
I cannot stress enough to all of you that I do not consider myself anything but just a plain old woman that is compelled to share what she is learning by way of the Holy Spirit, as everyone in the flock can do, and as many have done and are doing. If you see anyone that does not give glory, praise, and thanks to God in the name of Jesus Christ at the end of their sermon, article, or video, be very cautious of them. If you see anyone that continually teaches and preaches, acting as if only they are qualified, be very cautious. If you see anyone that continually refers to their education, qualifications, degree, etc., be very cautious.
We learn many supportive skills and facts from each other, but our ultimate teacher is God. The only one that gives us eyes to see is the Holy Spirit.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…”
- Jesus Christ in the Book of Revelation
We do not gain true understanding by man, by our pastors, by our friends, by our congregation, by Bible Study, by radio, by TV, by Youtube videos, nor by the degrees that hang on our walls.
Satan knows scripture but does he have understanding? No, he does not.
We are all to learn directly from the Holy Spirit, by asking God in the name of Jesus Christ, for wisdom and understanding. We do this often and we give thanks, praise, and glory to God always for this understanding, without failing. We can certainly come together to share with each other what we are learning, because each of us is probably learning new things, different from the next, but we are to put what we hear others say in our pockets, only to refer to in the future if need be, but not as 100% Truth until God let’s us know directly it is the Truth.
Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Well, if you do, then you believe in spiritualism. If you believe in spiritualism, then you believe things are not always as they seem and we are all just looking at the tip of the iceberg. In which case, for any of you that are lacking in understanding, I ask that you take what I’m saying here seriously and go directly to God for help – not to man.
In these end days, the Holy Spirit is supposed to be given to all of us liberally that God wills it to go to. There is NO ONE MAN or WOMAN that should be exalting themselves as THE teacher or THE Prophet. We are all prophets in these end days. Jesus Christ tells us so:
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me,“See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
- Revelation 19:10
I continue to see so many puffeth up when it comes to sharing Scripture. The time has definitely come for us to make the way straight for Jesus’ second coming. Satan goes to the head, but the Holy Spirit goes to the heart. We are all to come together in loving kindness without ego acting as a stumbling block. There is no reason why we cannot speak to each other about Scripture. We are to NOT be covetous of God’s Good Word, as if He only speaks to one of us and not to others.
Now – on to the main purpose of this article, which is to share a message I received concerning God’s Good Word. I’m sure many of my brothers and sisters, now and prior to my birth, have already seen this by way of the Holy Spirit giving them understanding. Again, I present these articles to you as a sister and a friend, not as someone that is trying to elevate herself above anyone. I continually share with everyone that my speech is always inclusive of my brothers and sisters and their personal relationships with God. And let me clarify one thing. The last time I checked, I was still human. Interestingly enough though, there’s a pretty popular man out there right now preaching that we are all angels (right now). Steer clear from this man (or at least this teaching) if you come across him or this “we are all currently angels” bit on Youtube or elsewhere. Anyway, being that we are still human, we can all get our wires crossed from time to time. God is absolutely perfect and does not make mistakes, but we can, will, and have always made mistakes. When I share things, I share them with excitement and for my fellow brothers and sisters to have some food for thought, but I do not share these things in the knowledge that I am absolutely right. Again, you need to go to God directly for understanding and wisdom . It’s possible that even the prophets and apostles that came before us got their wires crossed from time to time. We are human. We are flawed , and we are in the midst of an unbelievable spiritual battle right now where demons are among us trying to get us to trip, but as long as we are growing in God’s Good Grace, wearing His Full Armour, staying in The Word, keeping our Faith in Jesus Christ, and following God’s Commandments, we have the power to tread on those demons – those scorpions.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” – Luke 10:19
True and sincere fellowship is so important right now, just as it has been. I see so many only have a temporary fellowship when they go to a man-made building on Sundays. We are to have true and sincere fellowship always with all of our brothers and sisters. But Jesus Christ gives us permission to be smart, always asking God for guidance, and to not let anyone trick us, especially with those we may meet online.
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. “
- Matthew 10:16
There is a verse in The Book of Revelation that I find absolutely intriguing, not that the entire Revelation of Jesus Christ is not. It’s mind blowing, to say the least! Praise God! But this particular verse mentions the “measure of an angel”, which immediately makes me think of the phrase “the number of a man,” which would be the opposite of “the measure of an angel.” It especially makes me think this because of the way it is written in a “wink wink, nudge nudge” sort of way. Some may just see this verse as a description of a real measuring tool and, on the surface perhaps it is, but the entirety of The Book of Revelation is a vision. It’s divinely symbolic, parabolic, and incredibly spiritual. I cannot help but think that this verse goes much deeper, especially when we consider what the angel is describing to John, which is the Lamb’s Bride. And by the way, for any that might not have already caught this, the angel speaking with John tells him he is a brother and a fellow servant, so we know that this angel used to be one of the saints here on earth in his new angel form. Praise God!
The Measure of an Angel:
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Coincidentally, 144 makes me think of the 144,000 virgins of the 12 Tribes that are chosen and sealed. Also, converted, 144 cubits equals 216 feet.
6x6x6 = 216
Just put these above numbers in your pocket and continue to ask God for wisdom and understanding. These numbers may end up not meaning anything. But when I think of what the number of the beast is, which IS the number of man, there are a few things that come to mind. Solomon’s Gold that weighed 666 talents is one of these things as most of us know that Solomon was wise because of God, but in the end, he broke his covenant with God and turned his back on God to follow the fake gods of all these bad women. What’s worse than sinning? Being handed wisdom to you by God and knowing God, and then turning your back on Him. God has more mercy on the ignorant than he does with those that are wise. He tells us this in the story of Jonas and Ninevah, because God asks why Jonas is more upset about that vine dying than about these poor people of Ninevah that just do not know what they are doing. Do you think Cain knew what he was doing when he killed his brother? I do not know this for sure. I know God was still there with them and scolded Cain for being jealous and angry of his brother Abel, but what I do know is that God put a mark on Cain to protect him from anyone that would try to kill him. God said he would avenge Cain.
“Not so!” replied the LORD. “If anyone slays Cain, then Cain will be avenged sevenfold.” And the LORD placed a mark on Cain, so that no one who found him would kill him.”
Later in Genesis when The Word lays down the descendants of Cain, we get to Lamech who says the following:
“And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt. If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.”
It seems to me that Lamech was pretty confident that God would save him, but then we see no more of Cain’s descendants. It ends right there with Lamech.
Where am I going with all this? Well, there is a verse in the Book of Revelation that reads:
“And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.”
This verse is referring to the two witnesses, also known as the two prophets. I believe, as do many of my brothers and sisters in Christ, that these are not literally two men standing there in sackcloth breathing fire out of their mouths, but that they are us, all the saints and prophets that now and that have ever given the testimony of Jesus Christ. I believe this verse above is referring to the power we have through prayer. There is a passage in James that tells us this and refers to the Prophet Elias who, through fervent prayer, was able to stop the rain for 3.5 years (just like the two witnesses are able to do).
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
– James 5:15-18
I will be posting articles in the near future concerning this topic of the two prophets, as well as the topic of the spirit of the anti-Christ (the first beast) and the spirit of false prophecy (the second beast.) However, I ask for you to see what God says – He will avenge us, the saints and the prophets, just as He said He would avenge Cain. Now, please understand that I am by no means stating that Cain was a saint. He murdered his only brother out of jealousy. But God still put some sort of mark on him so that he would not be killed by anyone. This certainly makes my belief stronger with regards to the mark of the beast, which is 666, being an invisible mark that only the spirit world can see on all the unbelievers, just as the Seal of the Holy Spirit cannot be seen by man. Perhaps the Seal of the Holy Spirit is 77 or 777? God also makes it clear that these men that worship the Beast and his image, which I believe to be satan and his whore of Babylon (symbolic for materialism and all the lusts of this world), will have no rest. God made us in His image, which is the Bride of Christ, so it’s only fitting that the Whore be the image of satan, the beast of beasts.
“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” – Revelation 14:11
It makes sense to me that they will get no rest if they are not sealed with a 77 or a 777, but instead with a 666, because we all know that God tells us the 7th day is for “rest.” Additionally, many of us believe that 7 is God’s number for completeness. If we die in our sins, with the number of a man, we die incomplete, never having grown in God’s Good Grace – never having God’s Love perfected in us. Additionally, another thought with regards to the mark that God put on Cain, makes me think of the verse from The Book of Revelation 9:5-6: “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” There are a few schools of thought on this verse, but it makes me think that maybe the mark that God gave Cain was a 666. But at this point in my personal walk with God, I do not know.
Now, again, the Bible is divinely parabolic, especially The Book of Revelation, so please, let us not jump to conclusions and lean on ours or anyone else’s understanding that the Revelation 14:11 verse is referring to hell or the Lake of Fire. I personally believe that it can be referring to all the unbelieving and wicked that are outside the gates of the 1000 year reign, prior to satan returning a second time. But again, please go to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, and ask Him directly for wisdom and understanding.
So, how does all this pertain to “the measure of an angel?” Well, it seems to me that if the above is true, all those with the Seal of the Holy Spirit, maybe being 77 or 777, will rise to “the measure of an angel” instead of dying in their sins with “the number of a man”, 666, who gets no rest. “No rest for the wicked.”
Here is the definition for “the measure of man”:
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. If you want to see the true measure of a man, watch how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”
Jesus Christ tells us that we WILL go through tribulation, but that we have to make it to the end. But He also tells us that He was able to overcome this world, so He knows that we can do it too, with help from our Comforter, the Holy Spirit!
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” – Revelation 2:7
Stay humble. Don’t cause strife. Don’t try to teach things “to help Jesus” that Jesus Christ did not command us to teach. He makes it very clear in the Sermon on the Mount what He expects from us. We can lovingly share with one another in the spirit of fellowship, but let us not stand in fruitless quarrels and let us not try to teach the unbelievers things that only cause strife. We must make it to the end, letting God’s love be perfected in us, so that we can rise to “the Measure of an Angel” and find ourselves at the First Resurrection, when He comes with His rewards.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
- Daniel 12:4
Knowledge is increasing now but only to those of us that want it and that ask for it directly from God and that give God all the praise, thanks, and Glory always!
Peace and Love to you and yours!
